Flexible Spending Accounts
A flexible spending account (FSA) is a benefit that offers money-saving, tax-advantaged funds for participants to use on their everyday health and dependent care expenses. Employers choose from health care, limited health, and/or dependent care FSA options.
Health Savings Account
EBC's HSA is a savings account for eligible expenses that offers triple tax savings and investment opportunities. The health savings account is a flexible benefit that allows participants to choose whether to spend, save, or invest their HSA dollars. We help employers and participants understand the plan and get the most value out if it.
Health Reimbursment Arrangement
EBC's HRA offers employers the most control to design a benefit that matches and complements their health insurance plan. And participants enjoy a benefit plan that is funded entirely with employer dollars. Employers determine when the HRA will pay and how much, and participants receive funds for eligible expenses.
COBRA
COBRA regulations are complex and have many intricacies. Our end-to-end COBRA administration provides notices within required timeframes, collection of premium payments, remittance to the employer, coordination with carriers for reinstatements and terminations, and state continuation options in certain states.
Commuter Benefits
Commuter Benefits are account-based transportation benefit plans that offer participants tax savings on work-related commuting expenses. Clients can choose to offer a transit and/or parking account to their participants.
Lifestyle Spending Accounts
Lifestyle Spending Accounts (LSAs) allow employers to build an account to fund employees’ everyday needs without the burden of managing additional reimbursements. Each employee is unique; give them the choice to use after-tax funds on expenses that aren’t covered by traditional benefits.
Billing Services
Employers can easily collect premiums outside of payroll deductions with Billing Services. They provide us with their recurring premium amounts for the year and the list of employees to bill—we do the rest. What can be a heavily repetitive task is reduce to adding and removing employees, and providing annual premium updates.
Premium Only Plan (POP)
A Premium Only Plan allows participants to contribute to a variety of group insurance premiums on a tax-free basis. Participants save money on their premiums and their employer saves 7.65% on every dollar participants pay towards the plan. EBC takes care of ensuring that the plan meets all compliance and regulatory requirements allowing the pre-tax contributions.
Compliance Services
Our Compliance Services include wrap plan documents, Form 5500 filing, and nondiscrimination testing for Section 125 cafeteria plans and flexible spending accounts. Our Compliance Team ensures our products and services are meeting the ever-changing benefits landscape.
