HSAs go beyond what other benefits offer by giving participants the flexibility to spend, save, or invest their HSA funds. Whether participants choose to spend their funds on eligible expenses or save and invest their HSA funds, they will receive tax-free savings that can assist them on their road to financial wellness.

Our HSA offers a modern and personalized investment experience that helps participants work toward their long-term financial goals. Whether they are new to investing and are looking for a guided experience or are seasoned investors looking to research and trade stocks and ETFs, participants will have the tools available to build wealth and save for retirement.

High-Yield Interest Options

We offer two HSA interest options—a traditional interest option and a high-yield interest option. The high-yield interest option gives accountholders the opportunity to earn higher interest on their HSA cash balance. Accountholders can maximize their savings potential by opting-in to the high-yield interest option and investing their HSA funds.

Compatible with Limited Health FSA

Accountholders maximize their savings when they contribute to both an HSA and a limited health FSA. Accountholders can use their limited health FSA on eligible dental and vision expenses throughout the year and save or invest their HSA funds to create a nest egg for the future. Employers who are interested in enriching their benefits program and offering both a savings and spending account can offer their participants an HSA and limited health FSA. Employers who already have a standard health FSA and are interested in adding an HSA can utilize our customer experience and compliance expertise to help transition administration and participation from a standard health FSA to a limited health FSA.

Multiple Accounts, One Card

Using smart technology, EBC has all account-based products loaded onto one Benefits Card. Accountholders no longer have to juggle multiple cards simply to access their benefit funds. At EBC, participants receive a single Benefits Card that is linked to all of their card-based accounts, which makes using their benefits easier than ever.

Additional Services

Our Compliance Services provide employers with the support they need to meet important regulations. We offer the following add-on services to employers who use EBC to administer other benefit offerings:

  • Wrap plan documents: Wrap your health and welfare benefits into a single plan document and summary plan description (SPD) to simplify administration, combine required notices, and eliminate the need to submit multiple Form 5500s.
  • Form 5500: We prepare your health and welfare benefit plan Form 5500 to meet ERISA reporting requirements. This is included with our health care FSA and is an additional fee for other products.
  • Nondiscrimination testing: We gather information from you and perform the required testing on your behalf. Annual testing is included with our FSA and POP administration and is an additional fee for other products.
