PCOR Fee Adjusted to $2.08 from $2

The IRS has issued Notice 2014-56 in which the Patient Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) fee has been adjusted from the previous dollar amount of $2 per covered life to $2.08 for plan years that end on or after 10/1/14 through 9/30/15.

Some HRAs Subject to Employer 6055 Reporting

Employers that sponsor an HRA that provides minimum essential coverage (MEC) that is not integrated with the employer’s group health plan must report that coverage to the covered individuals on the plan and to the IRS in early 2016 for coverage provided in 2015 under Code Section 6055 reporting.
