Compliance Director - 1124

Employee Benefits Corporation is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Compliance Director position.  The Compliance Director is responsible for ensuring that the organization is conducting its business in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.  As the compliance team leader and subject matter expert, the Compliance Director is responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance programs throughout the organization are effective and efficient.  The Compliance Director provides strategic advice related to the regulatory and compliance environment, including healthcare privacy and related data security issues, and provides technical guidance on specific compliance matters, both internally and externally.   


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related study and 10+years of experience in employee benefit plans
  • Advanced knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA and the Internal Revenue Code
  • Advanced knowledge of consumer-directed healthcare
  • Experience drafting employee benefit plans, service agreements and communications and resolving plan operational issues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with proven ability to work on multiple priorities at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Work independently, collaboratively, and cross-functionally to drive results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively to large audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to travel on an occasional basis


Preferred Qualifications:

  • J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and an active member in good standing of the Bar
  • Qualifying certifications including CEBS, MBA, CFC, CFCI, CAS
