Takeover of current participants
We have processes in place to make it easy for employers to choose Employee Benefits Corporation for their COBRA administration, even when they already have COBRA participants.
Employers notify us during the transition to COBRASecure whether they have participants currently enrolled or pending enrollment in COBRA. If they do, they complete a simple spreadsheet to provide participants' information so we can notify all affected individuals that they have transitioned to our COBRASecure administration.
COBRA regulations are extensive and strict. Our in-house Compliance team ensures that COBRASecure complies with all the latest regulations, and our clients are 100 percent compliant and informed when regulatory changes occur.
Direct insurance carrier interaction
We work with our COBRASecure clients' insurance carriers when individuals elect continuation coverage and make the initial premium payment.
We also provide enrollment and termination information to the insurance company to ensure that each COBRA participant's coverage is reinstated or terminated as needed.
