Billing Services Specialist - 1202

Employee Benefits Corporation is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Billing Services. The Billing Services Specialist is responsible for managing Client records associated with all COBRA, State Continuation and Premium Billing Services accounts, including processing renewal rates and managing the COBRA open enrollment process. This position interacts with several areas across the organization. 

More specific responsibilities of this position include:

  • Coordination of  the client rate renewal process for COBRA contracts
  • Administration of client open enrollments
  • Updating and maintaining client records based on incoming requests for items such as division changes/updates, mergers and terminations
  • Conducting  audits and setup of  all new client plans and rates
  • Interpret and apply product and regulatory knowledge in determining appropriate actions, communications and follow ups to participants and client consultants
  • Research and respond to internal and external inquiries on COBRA, State Continuation, and Premium Billing Services topics in a customer centric manner

 

Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or one year of related experience.  At least one year of related administrative experience in a corporate office setting is also required.  Strong problem solving and communication skills, a keen attention to detail and a positive attitude are also essentials for this role, in addition to demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
