Participant Enrollment Specialist - 1178

At Employee Benefits Corporation, creating and maintaining meaningful relationships around our trusted brand of “making things easy” for our clients is key to our success.  Employee Benefits Corporation is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Participant Enrollment Specialist position. This position is responsible for managing administrative activities related to the debit card on the participant level. This position interacts with Client Services and Participant Services on a regular basis.   

Specific duties include:

  • Manage and maintain updates to participant account including enrollment, termination, leave of absence and permitted election changes as well as Benefits Card account maintenance
  • Update Participant accounts from data received through payroll or eligibility files and manage any account variances
  • Safeguard confidentiality, privacy and security of organization and customer (PHI) information
  • Obtain and maintain current and ongoing product regulation related knowledge at a level of proficiency to resolve complex requests and inquiries
  • Manage, triage and assign enrollment related workflow (to include but not limited to data file feeds, help desk inquiries and CRM tasks) in accordance with departmental expectations and standards
  • Perform audits on participant updates to ensure accuracy standards are met
  • Provide customer centric service to internal and external customers on questions and issues related to enrollment and participant accounts, utilizing professional interpersonal skills to include diplomacy, tact and empathy
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s degree or one to two years of related experience.  Proficiency with MS Word and Outlook.  Beginner to intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel are required.  Demonstrated ability to adapt to internal business software applications.  Experience in tax advantaged benefit programs preferred.  Experience in the health industry preferred.
